Connecting to Love Releasing Fear

I heard somewhere that the Chinese character for crisis has a double meaning opportunity; and although we are faced with many opportunities to experience fear, we also have incredible opportunities to experience love and security with in our own beings! We are by nature spiritual beings who have a deep and constant connection to all that is loving, joyful and powerful. We make a choice to act or react moment by moment, and sometimes the most beneficial action is to simply go inward and remember our deep connection to source, or infinite divine energy. All of us have this connection to the divine. It goes beyond our religious beliefs for in truth we are all one.  In encouraging and our divine nature we become more peaceful, calm and loving towards ourselves and therefore towards others.
These truths are simple and yet not always easy. Victor Hugo the French romantic poet and novelist said "Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones; and when you have laboriously accomplished your daily task, go to sleep in peace. God is awake."
Let us awaken now from the veil of fear into the light of divine love. For it is through this awareness that we are able to live from our true self, our divine essence. Have patience with yourself, allow yourself time to nurture your soul. Stop hold your hands over your heart, take a  few deep conscious breaths and connect to the place inside of you that remembers your connection to the divine even if it feels as small as you can imagine.  Close your eyes do it now!

Meditation and Manifestation

The idea that we manifest and co-create our lives has become highly popular and for good reason. We are now experiencing a great shift in awareness of how ancient spiritual concepts relate to the field of quantum physics and those of us who are more spiritual in mind set, than scientific, are happy to know some of our ideas are being backed up by modern science.

My experiences with meditation have led me to believe that it is an essential tool for helping me create the life I want to live. Everything in my life flows more smoothly and with less effort when I practice meditation. I simply feel better. When I make a commitment to daily meditation, positive, spontaneous and serendipitous occurrences happen quite often in miraculous ways. The practice of meditation makes it easier to honor and grow in awareness of our connection with divine energy.

I first began meditating with a group. I found this was a good way to get started. We met once a week in a friends living room and she facilitated the group. We sat on her couch or chairs, so our backs felt supported and comfortable, turned the ringer off on the phones, and meditated for twenty minutes. We did a simple waveform meditation where you imagine an ocean wave raising up through the center of your torso like a beam of light, right up the central channel of energy and out through your third eye or brow point. As you exhale you visualize the wave breaking on a distant shore line as if you are way out at sea, as the wave recoils, you inhale and continue the process, any thoughts or emotions that come up ride out on the wave, leaving you at peace.

Happy sailing!
