Meditation and Manifestation

The idea that we manifest and co-create our lives has become highly popular and for good reason. We are now experiencing a great shift in awareness of how ancient spiritual concepts relate to the field of quantum physics and those of us who are more spiritual in mind set, than scientific, are happy to know some of our ideas are being backed up by modern science.

My experiences with meditation have led me to believe that it is an essential tool for helping me create the life I want to live. Everything in my life flows more smoothly and with less effort when I practice meditation. I simply feel better. When I make a commitment to daily meditation, positive, spontaneous and serendipitous occurrences happen quite often in miraculous ways. The practice of meditation makes it easier to honor and grow in awareness of our connection with divine energy.

I first began meditating with a group. I found this was a good way to get started. We met once a week in a friends living room and she facilitated the group. We sat on her couch or chairs, so our backs felt supported and comfortable, turned the ringer off on the phones, and meditated for twenty minutes. We did a simple waveform meditation where you imagine an ocean wave raising up through the center of your torso like a beam of light, right up the central channel of energy and out through your third eye or brow point. As you exhale you visualize the wave breaking on a distant shore line as if you are way out at sea, as the wave recoils, you inhale and continue the process, any thoughts or emotions that come up ride out on the wave, leaving you at peace.

Happy sailing!
